Biography
I grew up in Annapolis, MD, before moving to Boulder, CO, to study aerospace engineering at the University of Colorado. After graduating, I spent two years teaching English in France before coming to MIIS to study international policy and development.
Areas of interest
I am interested in the U.S.’s relationships with other countries and how these dynamics can be used to make the world a more equitable place.
Project description
My project explores the value of patriotism in liberal democracies and seeks to determine how indifference to national identity and nationalism affect the health of democracy and societal cohesion.
