Biography
My name is Angela, and I am first-year graduate student, pursuing Environmental Policy Management (EPM). I was born and raised in Rwanda, and I graduated from Middlebury College with a degree in International and Global Studies, with a focus on global environmental change.
Areas of interest
I am passionate about addressing climate change in developing countries, with a particular interest in climate finance.
Project description
I aim to explore how austerity measures, reduced public spending or fiscal tightening, affect climate action. I seek to analyze how global climate finance tools, like debt relief and adaptation funding, interact with these constraints and impact building climate resilience in vulnerable regions.
