Biography
I am a second semester Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies student. Previous to attending MIIS I was a Peace Corps Morocco volunteer. I lived in the High Atlas Mountains two hours south of Marrakech where I worked with young girls and taught them English, etc. I attend MIIS because of the emphasis on language learning
Areas of interest
I am interested in learning further about cultures and language differences between cultures.
Project description
I am researching the ways in which the United States government can more equitably question Muslims while they are detained. I hope to find a way to further ensure the rights of Muslims in all aspects. I will be speaking to members of American law enforcement regarding their thoughts.
