I am a Translation and Localization Management Master’s Degree candidate specializing in Mandarin Chinese and English. I am an avid reader and athlete in my free time. I owe my inspiration and success to the love and support of my family.
Areas of interest
I am interested in leaving the world better than I found it through localization and increasing awareness of key topics, like health education.
Project description
I am creating a website of crowdsourced translations for women’s health and hygiene terms to decrease the information gap on these topics between languages. The website will include a map of linguistic regions detailing appropriate words for women’s health, like sanitary napkin and menstrual cycle.
