Biography
Originally from Brazil, and currently pursuing my master’s in international security, I want to enable data-driven, inclusive, and innovative policy solutions to critical security threats. I joined MIIS after spending 6 years at the Harvard Kennedy School as an evidence-based policy researcher.
Areas of interest
Through a nonproliferation focus, I am primarily interested in two areas: (1) cyber-nuclear security, and (2) countering proliferation financing.
Project description
As I learned throughout my professional career, critical security risks are more pronounced where political fragility, inequality, and gender- and ethnic-based inequity also prevail. My project will investigate a novel framework – focused on inclusion – for tackling security issues.
