Biography
I am a Translation and Localization Management student here at MIIS with a background in sociolinguistics and education, specializing in African American English and cross-dialectal teaching and learning. In the future, I hope to enter the games localization field.
Areas of interest
In addition to games and linguistics, I am very passionate about art and visual storytelling.
Project description
My project aims to examine how personal bias can impact translation, whether that be bias in the source content or bias inserted into the target content, as well as how this bias impacts how a translation is received by target audiences and what solutions may be possible.
