Biography
I am a first year Environmental Policy and Management student at MIIS specializing in Ocean and Coastal Resource Management. I am currently a graduate assistant at the Center for the Blue Economy working on a project that educates the public and raises awareness about white sharks in Monterey Bay.
Areas of interest
I am interested in marine mammal conservation, particularly in minimizing the impacts of bycatch and underwater noise on cetaceans.
Project description
My project aims to transform the conflict between humans and sharks. Through education, my goal is to reduce the negative attitudes surrounding white sharks and increase conservation awareness among youth.
