Hello! My name is Chelsea Flores. Born and raised in New York with Central American roots, I have always had a deep interest in storytelling, translation, and social justice.
Areas of interest
Having studied Spanish and Psychology at NYU, I am constantly seeking ways to combine my interest in Translation and community advocacy.
Project description
I aim to amplify the voices of diverse Honduran writers and artists by translating their works into English and presenting notes on the experience in a podcast. My goal is to make Central American literature more accessible in the U.S. and raise awareness of critical issues affecting the diaspora.
