Biography
As a localizer with almost a decade of project management experience in the advertising and publishing industries, I strive to solve problems by combining technical expertise with intercultural skill sets. I’m currently pursuing a MA degree in Translation and Localization Management, and hope to become a change maker in the industry.
Areas of interest
Language has always been a huge part of my life, coming from a multi-cultural background. I especially enjoy understanding different cultures and getting to know new people.
Project description
Together with a colleague from Turkey, we will conduct research on the role of mediator nations like Singapore and Turkey on the global stage. Due to our strategic locations and international relationships, we hope to examine how this could serve as an example for other countries in the field of diplomacy and conflict settlement.
