Biography
I am a first year student in Translating and Interpreting alongside a Localization Management specialization here at MIIS. I'm originally from Chicago, and hope to interpret for non-profits and large events some day.
Areas of interest
I hope to continue working with immigration law and delve into life sciences like conservation biology in the future.
Project description
Interpreters have to bridge a language gap, however that doesn't mean that the subjects some interpreters work with are always lighthearted. I hope to highlight the importance of trauma training in interpreters in high-stake situations. I will be focusing on interpreters in immigration law.
